Words...

I created this blog with something in mind. To reach people. If someone happens to stumble upon this and read one post, I hope that they get something out of it that they will carry with them. I want to share the Gospel through a blog, and not in an "in your face" kind of way. Hopefully my experience, and my thoughts can touch someone and open a door in their heart.

"The Lord merely spoke,
and the heavens were created.
He breathed the word,
and all the stars were born.
He assigned the sea its boundaries,
and locked the oceans in vast reservoirs.
Let the whole world fear the Lord,
and let everyone stand in awe of Him.
For when He spoke, the world began!
It appeared at his command."
--Psalm 33:6-9

"Let all that I am wait quietly before God,
for my hope is in Him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress where I will not be shaken.
My victory and honor come from God alone.
He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me.
O my people, trust Him at all times.
Pour out your heart to Him,
for God is our refuge."
--Psalm 62:5-8

"I lie awake thinking of You,
meditating on You through the night.
Because You are my helper,
I sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings.
I cling to You,
Your strong right hand holds me securely."
--Psalm 63:6-8

‎"...but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint."
--Isaiah 40:31

I became a Christian when I was 7, and at 13 I realized that I needed to show I was a Christian on the outside and through my actions. Getting out of my comfort zone is not easy, and I need to get used to it. If you love God, then why not tell people about it? This is one of my ways of telling people! God loves you, why else would he create you?! You are his masterpiece! We need to look in the mirror and say with confidence that "I am an original masterpiece made by God." I encourage you to look into your heart and see what is there, and to get out of your comfort zone!
